Fall means back to school so James started his last year at BYU! (although I would have gladly gone back too). He is taking 16 credits at school and working 30hrs. a week so he is pretty much gone all the time. Work is going well and I seem to be keeping pretty busy. In my free time I have been trying to learn how to make bread like my momma...I think I finally have the wheat bread pretty close!
Another fall goal has been to whip ourselves into shape. I have found that sitting at a desk all day has not been helpful to my figure. We are both trying to get back into running and are "training" for our annual turkey trot.
Fall also brought us more birthdays. We both turned a year older...yikes! This year was my golden birthday 25 on Sept. 25th but I had the luck of getting my wisdom teeth out 3 days before which put a little damper on the eating part of my birthday plans. One of our friends was nice enough to have a little b-day party for me and luckily cupcakes and ice cream were just perfect for my sore teeth. For James' b-day (Nov. 5) we had a pie party at our house. I am not a very experienced pie maker and managed to catch our oven on fire about 30 mins. before everyone came over. We were able to air out the house and had fun having some friends and family over to celebrate!
We also had a fun halloween...it is the first time since we've been married that we actually dressed up. I had to dress up for work using some of the scrapbook paper that my company has designed so I chose the "All About Boys" themed paper and dressed up as a robot (yes the last time I dressed up I was also a robot...maybe it's because my robot dancing moves are so good). I found out that the major flaw with my costume was that I couldn't sit down in it so basically it just sat by my desk at work. We also went to a Halloween party at our friends house so James dressed up as a Robot repair man.
